Guest Artists
Envision Dance Curriculum is supported by professional dance artists from throughout San Diego. They lend their expertise and artistry by teaching as part of our regular class schedule, choreographing, and offering special master classes.
Nikki DunnanNikki Dunnan grew up dancing in Colorado Springs, CO. During college, she co-founded Eveoke Dance Theatre as one of 8 original Concert Company dancers under the direction of Founding Artistic Director, Gina Angelique, and was featured in 32+ original dance theatre works (month-long runs) in her 18-year career with the Company. She became the Administrative Director of Eveoke in 2000 and ran the organization as Executive Director from 2007-2012. Nikki is now the Administrative Director of Art Produce, a non-profit arts and culture organization in North Park. She began teaching at Canyon Crest Academy as a guest artist in 2014.

Joyce Lien KushnerJoyce Lien Kushner is a SoCal native, trained in modern, contemporary, jazz, ballet, and tap. She is a certified Progressing Ballet Technique® (PBT) instructor. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCLA. As a dance teaching artist, Joyce has trained dancers of all ages and has performed and collaborated with artists all over California - Modern City Repertoire, Strong Pulse Dance, Epiphany Dance Theater, Surhabi Suraf, Sarah Bush Dance, Amy Lewis, Five Feet Dance, and Chris Black Dance. In 2015, Joyce founded TILTshift Dance. Now in San Diego, Joyce continues to teach and make work. |
Marty DoradoMarty Dorado is a native of New Mexico and has been living in San Diego since 2012 after graduating from New Mexico State University in 2011. Since then, he’s been enjoying dancing, teaching and choreographing professionally in Southern California with several dance companies like Visionary Dance Theater, The PGK Dance Project, Compulsion Dance & Theater, and Malashock Dance. Marty looks forward to focusing primarily on teaching and choreographing in the next phase of his career. |
